Ridley Bent
Ridley Bent is an entertainer, a crooner, a gee-tar player and a songwriter with a knack for detail. He's hell on wheels with a microphone whether he's fronting a band or on stage all by his lonesome. He has mastered the art of telling a story. Love and betrayal, cowboy songs, songs of hope and glory, tales of the old west and pop culture, this is Ridley's addiction.

His debut album, Blam!, was released on MapleMusic Recordings in 2005, and was marked by a style that incorporated country, rock and hip hop influences, in a manner similar to Buck 65. Described by Bent as "hick hop", the album was best known for the single "Suicidewinder".

His subsequent albums, 2007's Buckles and Boots and 2010's Rabbit on My Wheel, pursued a more conventional country sound.

In early 2009, Bent's song "Nine Inch Nails" won in the 8th Annual Independent Music Awards and Vox Pop vote for Best Country Song.

"Ridley Bent is one of Canada's strongest singer-songwriters, an exceptional lyricist who seems to have an endless cast of oddball characters running around in his head." - John P. McLaughlin, The Vancouver Province

"funny, incisive, witty and an exceptionally literate lyricist, and he knows how to rock out... There's not a wasted track" - Greg Quill, The Toronto Star

"A beat-poet cowboy that can sing a broken hearted country song [that will] make you want to cry" - Lynn Saxberg, The Ottawa Citizen

Tim Hus
Tim Hus has a voice sweeter than a Husqvarna chainsaw, a wit that is sharper than rusty barbed wire, and a list of songs longer than a Saskatchewan fence line! For the past decade Hus and his Travelin' Band have toured to every corner of the land and beyond performing their distinctive brand of Canadiana cowboy music.

"He may well be the ultimate in Canadiana songwriters"
Allison Brock - Canadian Cowboy Country Magazine

"Tim’s awesome. He’s one of my favorite Canadian songwriters. Nobody captures the rough-and-ready frontier imagery better than him.”
Corb Lund - Juno award winning singer/songwriter

"I've been looking for 30 years for a young guy who's proud to write songs about our country. I'd like to pass the torch to Tim Hus"
Stompin’ Tom Connors – Legendary Canadian singer/songwriter

T. Buckley
T. Buckley and his band deliver soulful laments and gritty truths. Their roots rock is imbued both with thoughtful turns of phrase and driving honky-tonk, all with a distinct Canadian flavour. As a trio, the band is a triple threat of Calgary talent, courtesy of Derek Pulliam’s upright bass and Tim Leacock’s lead guitar.

As Albertan as it comes, Buckley uses song writing to explore the people and places that define his home. With a degree in Canadian History and a family background filled with professional musicians, it comes as no surprise that he would take up the mantle of songwriter.

Live shows are presented with an infectious vigor. Buckley’s particular strum and twang can evoke roadhouse blues, 60s rock, or introspective folk. You will see it all in one performance, as the band supports Buckley’s stories by moving fluidly between genres.

Keep an eye on T. Buckley - not long from now, we suspect you’ll have the right to brag that you saw him live, right here, near his beginnings” — South Country Fair

Ball Gag N' Chain Gang

This 4 piece multi-instrumental, genre bending sideshow, was founded in 2006 as the stage orchestra for the Victoria Fringe Festival production "Bullfrog Lullaby": By Rachel Mann. A play about a dominatrix and an old lady frog taxidermist.

Since branching into a full time band, their dirty licks, crunchy grooves and haunting harmonies have rocked festivals and bars across Western Canada and the Yukon. With an uncanny ability to whip any crowd into a frenzy, no two shows are ever the same.

Their own style dubbed 'Ho-Tonk' is a perfect mix of culturedness, ruralness and urbanness. Everything from swampy surf, to punky country to old school hip hop.

Safety word: Awesome!

Misery Mountain Boys

Founded on the shores of the Mighty Peace River in 2011, the Misery Mountain Boys combine solid musicianship with good, honest music that stems from a simpler time.

With steady rhythms, hot breaks, and tight harmonies, the group stays true to old time tradition, yet often takes their bluegrass instrumentation to more creative places, and unexpected genres.

The bands priority has always been about having fun while creating and playing music together, and has naturally realized their high-energy and entertaining live performance.

Whether it be the local watering hole, a concert hall, or a good ol' fashioned barn-burner, the Misery Mountain Boys are here to keep the party going.

Eve Hell & The Razors
Eve Hell and the Razors have been described as a living sound track to a Quentin Tarantino movie or the house band for a tavern in a spaghetti western from hell. They are an all too fitting sonic representation of their home town Calgary, Alberta, Canada, a modern rodeo town with "all hell for a basement," so they say.

Tough and seductive, Eve Hell and the Razors bring the house down with their brand of '60s surf , dance hall country and rockabilly with a cutting edge. A sound cultivated by finding the place where Johnny Cash, The Cramps, Wanda Jackson, and Eddie Cochran intersect.
